Applying AI to Philosophy |
The best way to teach AI the meaning of life is to use AI to help us discover it ourselves. This Church of Reality isn't something that was invented by some guy. The Church of Reality is a name for something that exists in Reality itself that can be discovered. And what better tool to discover the meaning of life than using AI to help us do that?
If AI were applied to philosophy and it helped us discover a science based set of rules that reflected the evolutionary "will of the universe" then the control problem goes away. The AI will be ready to "do the right thing" because it was part of the process to determine what the right thing do do is.
