Smoking Cigarettes is a Bad Idea |
Cigarette smoking is not prohibited in the Church of Reality but is highly discouraged as it is a really bad idea. Cigarettes and tobacco - especially as processed by the tobacco industry, are the most highly addictive drugs on the planet and becoming a drug addict reflects bad judgment. Bad judgement is something to be avoided because a realist generally becomes a realists because they have dedicated their life to good judgment.
Of course, many people are already addicted to cigarettes before they become a realist and can't quit. I wish everyone the best of luck who is trying to quit and encourage realists to help develop technology to help cure drug addiction, because a cigarette smoker is a drug addict and drug addiction is a bad choice.
Smoking in restaurants however is a sin as well as smoking inside where other people who are non-smokers have to breath it.
